1. How many clocks does Jareth have?


I've been giving too much thought to "How many hours are there in a Labyrinthian day?" While preparing this page, I flipped though LABYRINTH The Photo Album. I discovered pictures of no less than four different clocks with 13 hours on them! Then, the Grand Master of the Snappy, Stephanie Massick, pointed out that I had missed the clock in the final confrontation scene. I'm grateful to her for snapping it for me. Thanks, GMOS! Now, if I could just get my hands on one of those clocks...

I also noticed that this last 13-hour clock also has a nearly identical 12-hour twin: the one in Sarah's living room is shaped like this last one, kind of like a rectangular pillar. I know, I know, I gotta stop watching this movie...

Clock 2 Now, here's something else I found interesting. Take a look at clock #2 from the previous question. There is a familiar character in the upper left-hand corner, whom I was a bit surprised to see. I wouldn't have guessed that Jareth would have a clock with this guy on it!

No - sadly, mung beans were overlooked when Henson was casting the vegetables and fruits in Lab (damn peaches! Although I can't really imagine a crystal ball turning into a handfull of sprouts..poor Hoghead!) - it's just a special little fetish of mine ;)
